Handcrafted jewelry inspired by ancient Mediterranean symbols of protection.

ROMEO apotropaic masks are born from the ancient Mediterranean language of protection.

Carved faces, deep eyes, archaic lines and bold shapes evoke symbols used since antiquity to ward off evil, safeguard the wearer and represent strength, identity and belonging.

The category

This category brings together rings, pendants, money clips and creations inspired by the apotropaic mask, reinterpreted according to ROMEO’s goldsmithing and sculptural tradition.

Each piece is made exclusively in the workshop of master goldsmith Saverio Romeo, with no outside work. It is not industrial production, but handcrafted work done by hand, with respect for the material, the symbol and ancient memory.

Creations in silver and precious metals, designed for those who wish to wear not only a jewel, but a sign of protection, character and identity.
