ROMEO jewels are handmade and with the artisan method of lost wax casting, they are produced exclusively in our laboratory in Crotone, they tell of ancient civilizations, enclosed in the precious filigree fretwork, where the history and the soul of an ancient people give life to the Ori di Calabria, a very clear imprint of a refined jewellery, unique in its kind and inspired by ancient Magna Graecia.
Why are they handmade?
Because the first model (prototype) is made completely by hand, the silicone mold is then prepared, in order to be able to replicate the jewel. The wax model star is then obtained, which is positioned in the shape of a tree together with other elements always in wax, through the lost wax casting method we can obtain the gold model. At this point, all that remains is to always finish by hand, set the precious stones and finally sew the beads one by one to complete in all the splendor of a unique jewel.
