1. PRODUCTS
The products available on the website are jewellery, sculptures and handcrafted creations made by ROMEO s.n.c. in gold, silver, bronze and other materials indicated in the individual product descriptions.
Each creation is handmade. Small differences in shape, weight, colour, finish, patina, engraving or surface are not to be considered defects, but characteristics of manual craftsmanship.
Product images are intended to represent the item as faithfully as possible, but slight differences may occur due to lighting, photography, the screen used or the handcrafted nature of the work.
2. PRICES
Prices are indicated in euros and include VAT, unless otherwise stated.
Any shipping costs, insurance costs or additional services are indicated before the order is completed.
For products available on the website, the applicable price is the one shown in the product page and in the order summary at the time of purchase.
For products made of gold, silver, bronze, precious stones, custom-made works, personalised items or special creations, the price may vary depending on the value of the materials, the complexity of the work and the characteristics of the individual creation.
In these cases, the price is always communicated and agreed with the customer before the order is confirmed.
3. ORDERS
By placing an order, the customer accepts these Terms and Conditions of Sale.
The customer is required to check the accuracy of the information entered before submitting the order.
ROMEO s.n.c. reserves the right to verify the availability of the ordered product. If an item is not available, the customer will be contacted in order to agree on an alternative solution, a new delivery time or a refund of any amount already paid.
The contract is considered concluded when the customer receives the order confirmation or when the payment is accepted, according to the methods provided by the website.
4. PERSONALISED AND CUSTOM-MADE PRODUCTS
Products made to measure, personalised, modified at the customer’s request or created specifically according to the customer’s instructions cannot be returned, except in the case of lack of conformity.
This category includes, by way of example, jewellery with personalised engravings, specific sizes, stones chosen by the customer, requested symbols, structural modifications or creations made on commission.
5. PAYMENTS
Payment is made according to the methods indicated on the website at the time of the order.
The order will be processed after payment confirmation, unless otherwise agreed in writing between the customer and ROMEO s.n.c.
6. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Products are shipped to the address indicated by the customer during the order process.
The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the shipping details provided. ROMEO s.n.c. is not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses or by the absence of the recipient.
Available products are generally shipped within 2–5 working days from payment confirmation.
For custom-made, personalised or not immediately available products, preparation and delivery times may vary and will be communicated to the customer.
Where applicable, shipping may be insured. Alternatively, the customer may arrange collection at the workshop located at Via Venezia 17, 88900 Crotone KR, Italy.
Upon delivery, the customer is invited to check the integrity of the package. Any visible anomalies must be reported to the courier and promptly communicated to ROMEO s.n.c.
7. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
For online purchases, the consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days from the delivery of the goods, without giving any reason, except for the exclusions provided by law.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must send a written communication to:

The customer may use the withdrawal form included at the end of these terms and conditions, but its use is not mandatory.
The product must be returned intact, unused, undamaged and complete, where applicable, with packaging, certificate, ROMEO seal and any documentation received.
The customer is responsible for any decrease in the value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
The direct cost of returning the goods is borne by the customer, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The customer must return the product within 14 days from the communication of withdrawal.
The refund will be made within 14 days from the communication of withdrawal, according to the terms provided by law. ROMEO s.n.c. may withhold the refund until the returned product has been received or until the customer has provided proof of having sent it back.
The refund includes the price of the product and any standard delivery costs paid by the customer at the time of purchase.
Any additional costs resulting from special, insured or non-standard delivery methods chosen by the customer will not be refunded.
8. EXCLUSION OF THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
The right of withdrawal does not apply to personalised products, made-to-measure products, modified products or products created specifically at the customer’s request, except in the case of lack of conformity.
9. LEGAL GUARANTEE
The products sold are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity provided by the applicable legislation.
For new goods, the legal guarantee lasts two years from delivery and covers lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery of the product.

In the presence of a lack of conformity, the consumer is entitled, according to the law, to have the goods brought into conformity by repair or replacement, or, in the cases provided by law, to a price reduction or termination of the contract.
The action to enforce lack of conformity is time-barred after 26 months from delivery of the goods.
The guarantee does not cover damage caused by improper use, knocks, falls, tampering, unauthorised repairs, poor maintenance, normal wear and tear, contact with chemical substances or alterations due to incorrect treatment.
10. PRODUCT CARE
Handcrafted jewellery must be stored and used with care.
It is advisable to avoid contact with perfumes, creams, detergents, seawater, chlorine, chemical agents and accidental knocks.
11. LIABILITY
ROMEO s.n.c. is not responsible for any damage resulting from improper use of the product, poor maintenance, knocks, falls, tampering or modifications carried out by third parties.
The mandatory rights granted to the consumer by the applicable legislation remain unaffected.

ROMEO s.n.c. undertakes to reply as soon as possible.
13. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
The parties may attempt to resolve any disputes amicably.
The consumer may contact alternative dispute resolution bodies for consumer disputes, where applicable under the current legislation.
14. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
These terms and conditions are governed by Italian law.
For consumers, the competent court is the court of the place of residence or domicile of the consumer, if located in Italy, unless otherwise provided by mandatory legal provisions.
For non-consumer customers, the competent court is the Court of Crotone, Italy.
STANDARD WITHDRAWAL FORM
To be completed and sent only if the customer wishes to withdraw from the contract.
